In times like these we find ourselves looking for answers and looking for help in preparing for violent storms,tornadoes, etc. This website is designed to establish contact between people who would like to offer a shelter (basement, safe room, etc.) to a family or neighbor who would not otherwise be able to have shelter from the storm. I feel that so many people would help others in a desperate situation if only their was a better way of planning and preparing for that situation. This website is for those in need and those who would like to help. . About Us:As a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I know how helpless you can feel in the path of a dangerous storm with nowhere to go. Creating this website is something I have felt I needed to do for years now. Watching tragedy after tragedy is enough to know that we take action and work together to stop such a loss of life. As a person who has not only sheltered friends and neighbors but someone who has run house to house knocking on doors with a baby in my arms to get out of a violent storm, I know that having a plan is crucial and very possble!
